Waycross boasts three overnight facilities and a community cabin setting to choose from or reserve in entirety – each within walking distance. Accommodations for over 160 adults can be extended to serve 200 with the use of the community cabins. Many areas are wheelchair accessible including common meeting and activity buildings.
Available is a contemporary upscale Conference Center with double occupancy for up to 64 guests. Offered, are plush rooms that include air conditioning and personal bathrooms. Large windows throughout provide natural lighting and beautiful views. Airy conference and meeting rooms open onto decks overlooking meadows, forests and creeks. Included are two large assembly rooms as well as group conference rooms, two hospitality suites and two common meeting areas. A culinary staff prepares healthy delicioius meals serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from the on-site kitchen adjoining the dining halls. Audio/video presentation capabilities and web conferencing with wireless capabilities are also made available.
The original two-story Main House Lodge and Sleeping Wing together, accommodate 42 guests. Options range from single to quadruple occupancy with shared and private bathrooms. Also air conditioned and easily accessible, the Main House Lodge offers a spacious comfortable living room with large stone fireplace and plush couches and lovely pond views leading onto porches and decks. Included is a large conference and meeting room with audio/video presentation and wireless capabilities.
Completed in the spring of 2004 and designed as a multi-purpose facility, this magnificent facility is located in the heart of the conference center Main Lodge and Community Cabin areas. The Assembly building offers our largest meeting space, equipped to handle upwards of 200 guests with full audio/video capabilities, wireless internet and dining options. There are also three additional breakout rooms and an arts and crafts studio available for conference groups. A comfortable porch provides space for small groups to gather to enjoy a view of the great outdoors.
More of a rustic choice that includes bunk bed accommodations for 100 guests in entirety in 10 cabins. Close enough for community and separated enough for privacy, each cabin has screened windows all around, five double-deck bunk beds, a dressing room and a small covered porch. Just outside the cabin doors, and connected by paved pathways, is a centrally located bathhouse with drinking fountain, and full bath facilities. The bathhouse steps provide the perfect spot for stargazing and nighttime gatherings. The adjacent covered Recreation Hall provides a beautiful stone fireplace for making Smores and gathering for evening and daytime activities.
The indoor and outdoor chapels at Waycross are available 24 hours a day for both group and individual use. The indoor chapel provides a beautifully designed space that opens up to the outdoors through a wall of windows. The view of the babbling creek, cliff and hardwoods from the outdoor chapel is a favorite for many. Waycross also features two labyrinths for your walking pleasure. Wandering through 410 acres of rolling hills on the Waycross trail system is a great way to start and end any day.
